Tuition Fees

The total tuition fees of the Programme for each postgraduate student amount to two and a half thousand (2.500€) euros. The payment is made in three instalments to a special account of the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki:

The first instalment of nine hundred (900) euros is paid upon initial enrolment in the Programme.

The second and third instalments, eight hundred (800) euros each, are paid respectively upon registration of the student in the second (B’) and third (C’) semesters and before the start of his/her studies.

By decision of the Assembly of the School, approved by the Senate, the amount of the fees may be varied.

Exemption from Tuition Fees

Exemption from tuition fees, where applicable, is granted to students of the Programme, whose individual income, if they have one, and their family’s disposable equivalent income do not exceed independently, the first one at a hundred percent (100%) and the seventy at a seventy percent (70%), the national median disposable equivalent income, according to the most recently published data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

In any case, the exempted students do not exceed thirty percent (30%) of the total number of students admitted to the Programme. If the beneficiaries exceed this percentage, they are selected in order of ranking, starting from those with the lowest income.

Programme Excellence Scholarships

The Programme provides one scholarship per specialization (commendation for excellence) in the 3rd semester of studies to one student, which consists of the exemption from the third instalment of the tuition fees [amounting to eight hundred euros (800€)]. Excellence should be obtained by averaging the marks of the 1st and 2nd semester courses.

In case a student has a scholarship or grant from another institution, he/she is not entitled to a scholarship from the Programme.
